BBC Asian Network: Friction Lab

Bobby FrictionBop was featured on the BBC Asian Network last night as part of the Friction Labs where artists, producers, bands, singers, rappers and MCs are invited to cover, remix or refix a track. It could be an indie band covering a Bhangra track or vice versa.

In his unique and instantly recognisable style, Bop decided to deliver a stunning 130bpm remix of “Good News For You” by M. Ashraf featuring Nahid Akhtar, a Lahore/Lollywood track from an album about pop music from Pakistan.

Make sure you check out this beautiful remix on the BBC iPlayer (around 1 hour 58 mins)…
